2018 Winter Build Trip on our "BBNP" land

Spent 8 days working on our land.
 Worked up to 10 hours/day.
Dug about 30 holes, most in solid rock.
Mr. rock bar, hammer drill, and jack hammer were our friends.
Mixed and poured forty 80 pound bags of concrete.
Many days temperatures were near freezing.
Not all completed structures/projects shown on this blog.
Some of the hardest work and most fun I have ever had.

The work site on top of our hill.

Kaylee installing the roof panels on our 16' x 16' metal shade structure.

I've never met anyone who works harder.

Built a hang out place half way down the hill....need shade from the sun.

Our little Mr Buddy heater trying to heat up our cabin.

New Years Day black eyed pea cook-off in the ghost town.

Game camera caught some workers.

Top cover done!!!   We were sooo happy!

We made it!!!  South Rim, Big Bend

Sitting on the South Rim

If you chase wild burros, they will run.  Hey, tall brown guy, YOU my friend, are a horse!

Astronomy night on Terlingua Ranch.  Craters on Saturn?  No, those are just cobwebs on the magnifying mirror.
No problem, we can fix that.

We always visit Ben.  He is getting so big.
View from the new Vogl Ranch.
Found us some bones on our new land.

Ernst Tinaja in Big Bend NP
ATV break time, near the top of Cedar Springs.  Can you tell it is 105 degrees?

My name is Kaylee.  I climb rocks.
